Workshops

Learn the basics of sugar flower and wafer flower making with me, with full guidance, at several locations across the country.

General information

Adult education registration number: B/2024/001086

At my workshops, with full guidance, you can make your own flowers from sugar paste or wafer paper at several locations across the country. No prior experience is needed, everyone interested is warmly welcome.

A maximum of 6 people can take part in my small group courses at once, so I can work with everyone individually too, to help you get the most out of it and head home proudly at the end of the day with your flowers and a certificate.

A private learning option is also available if you visit me in Mosonmagyaróvár. In this case you can choose the flowers we will make together at a pre-arranged time.

If there is demand for a new location, feel free to reach out through my contact details, if there are enough participants for a group, I'm happy to travel anywhere within the country.

This course does not qualify as formal education.

Workshops
What does a full-day workshop offer?

The program is basically put together so that participants get to know as many techniques as possible over the course of the day. We make flowers using both the glued and wired techniques, along with the leaves, buds, and possibly filler flowers that go with them.

We learn how to color and shape the material and how to use the tools. The finished petals, leaves, and flowers are painted with food-grade colors, and varnish is applied on the appropriate parts.

We pack the flowers into a form suitable for transport, and go over questions about storage and use.

After the workshop, participants are invited to my private student group on Facebook, where they'll find sources for purchasing tools, as well as a few helpful videos. Of course, there's also the chance to ask questions.

The workshop lasts approximately 8 hours.

Workshops
What do the half-day workshops offer?

Basically the same as the full-day ones, but unfortunately there's no room for complex learning in this format. At these workshops, only one type of flower is made per session, and participants get to know the techniques related to it.

The workshop lasts approximately 4 hours.
